Description
To offer mobile users the facility to topup their prepaid Orange or Emtel mobile phones through SBM ATMs, SMS and POS (Point of Sales at selected merchants)
 
   
Features
ATM TopUp: Any Debit or Credit Card usually accepted at SBM ATM’s may be utilized, not only SBM cards.

SMS TopUp: Debit or Credit Card for SBM customers as well as Banque Des Mascareignes customers. For other banks any Credit Cards (Visa or MasterCard) are accepted. However, customers need to register with the bank to use this service.

POS TopUp: Any Debit or Credit Card usually accepted on our POS can be utilized
No transaction costs are payable, even for non-SBM cards

• TopUp service is available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week through our ATMs and SMS.

• Accessible to both SBM and non-SBM customers.

• The same price as with scratch cards applies. No additional transactions fees from your bank or SBM.

• This service is applicable to both Orange and Emtel prepaid mobile users. Top Up transactions may be effected on your phone or the phone of a friend/family member. However, for SMS TopUp customers need to register.

• Who is eligible for the TopUp service?
Both SBM and non-SBM customers who have a bank card (a valid credit or debit card)

• What are the different credit options available?
A range of top up options is available as follows:
Emtel - Rs 50, Rs 125, Rs 225, Rs 475, Rs 1,000
Orange – Rs50, Rs100, Rs 300

• When can TopUp service be used?
24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

• What is the cost involved?
It is free of charge. The same price as scratch cards applies.
